Power is the amount of energy used in a certain amount of time. When an object has a lot of power it uses more energy and takes less time for the object to reach its destination. If an object has a bigger mass it will take more energy to move.
Power = Work / Time For example, in dance to jump off the floor you have to use a lot of energy. When doing leaps and jumps you have to plié so that you can used your energy or momentum to get you higher into the air. Also when your older it takes a lot more power to get off the floor because you have more mass than younger kids. |
